It was a wonderful place to stay and launch our touring from!! We did SO many things - Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, Asheville, the Biltmore just to name a few things :-) Everything was SO peaceful at your place. Thank you thank you thank you. Ohhh we just can't tell you how much fun we had and how relaxing it was and how MUCH WE MISS IT!!! We are actually thinking about making this a yearly adventure Thank you thank you thank you!!! Joanna and Carter

Our favorite spot was on the front porch, reading, listening to the sounds, and talking. My dog and I especially enjoyed our morning walks to and from the Cane(what a workout!). A trip to Grandfather Mountain and a tubing excursion on the Toe(thanks to Karen for directions) were highlights of our vacation - Burnsville is so conveniently located. The cabin is set up so well, especially the kitchen. Thanks for sharing your hideaway with us.

In the past we had always stayed at motels, but having the cabin was much more relaxing. We liked how the cabin was fully stocked with everything that we would need. You truly do think of everything! It snowed the first night that we were there. Being in the hot tub while it was snowing was really a different experience! Thank you again. God bless.

The neighbors were friendly and even invited us over to watch some college football and to accompany them on their nightly walks. The stream below the cabin is a nice place to relax as I literally caught a fish on my first cast. At night, shooting some pool, throwing darts and relaxing in the hot tub rounded out our days. The cabin is definitely close to area attractions (i.e. Biltmore/Asheville/Blue Ridge Parkway).

The house is beautiful as well as the sights! One of my favorite things is the swing on the front porch! It was wonderful to wake up every day and look out at the beautiful mountain scenery. The leaves around the cabin had already changed, but when we ventured out towards Erwin or Weaverville, we still saw yellows, reds, and oranges on many of the trees. We played family board games,read, and took walks down the mountain. One special surprise was discovering that a relative through marriage lives on Model A Lane which is right before you turn off onto Big Laurel. We even had the opportunity to stop in and visit...talk about a small world!! We loved the Christmas decorations....it got us in the Christmas mood early. Thanks again for sharing your mountain home.
